Let's see. So we are officially out of bikes.
We popped 3 or 4 tires and Elder Carter ran into a curb and broke the
wheel. He flew over the handlebars and everything. Luckily, he only got a
little scrape on his arm. The tire now looks like a potato chip. Other
than that it has just been goat heads. We've been on bikes most of the
week because one of the other Elders is supposed to be taking it easy
because of health stuff. By the end of the transfer we are going to be
bike riding champions though with all the hills.
We
got a sweet referral this week. Someone is looking for a church to go
to, and they just happened to know a couple of members. They said every
member that they have met is happy and nice, so that kind of sparked
their interest.
Yep it was a fun week. We also
talked to our neighbor about missionaries and the restoration for around
20 minutes so that was sweet.
Well, I'm out of
time, but a challenge for the week is to study a topic in the
scriptures that you have wanted to learn more about. Look it up in the
topical guide. You'll learn a ton about it.
