Elder Bronson and Elder Carter

Inspiration

Hey everyone. So I'm super short on time, but I'll put what I can.

So we did a lot of contacting and trying to find more people to teach this week. Our investigator was sick so hopefully she gets feeling better.

We rode bikes a lot this week.

We talked to an atheist. He wasn't interested, but we almost got a referral. We ended up giving him our phone number and he is going to give it to his friend that is looking for a church. That was pretty cool. I had asked Elder Carter where the Spirit was telling him to go and we ended up talking to this guy. I say that it was inspiration.

Bikes

This week was awesome.

Let's see. So we are officially out of bikes. We popped 3 or 4 tires and Elder Carter ran into a curb and broke the wheel. He flew over the handlebars and everything. Luckily, he only got a little scrape on his arm. The tire now looks like a potato chip. Other than that it has just been goat heads. We've been on bikes most of the week because one of the other Elders is supposed to be taking it easy because of health stuff. By the end of the transfer we are going to be bike riding champions though with all the hills.

We got a sweet referral this week. Someone is looking for a church to go to, and they just happened to know a couple of members. They said every member that they have met is happy and nice, so that kind of sparked their interest.

Yep it was a fun week. We also talked to our neighbor about missionaries and the restoration for around 20 minutes so that was sweet.

Well, I'm out of time, but a challenge for the week is to study a topic in the scriptures that you have wanted to learn more about. Look it up in the topical guide. You'll learn a ton about it.

Happy Independence Day!

This week has been awesome. We have been doing a ton of finding this week.

Lets see. We did some tracting. Not too much came from it, but we talked to lots of people. Hopefully planted some seeds.

We got to go on exchanges this week. So I was with Elder Harvey. He came out with me. He is the big Canadian on the right of the picture. We had fun. We did some contacting at some parks. We talked to this lady who only spoke Spanish. We know a tiny bit, but luckily her daughter could translate for us. That was cool. The Elderes are teaching her now.

We had a zone conference. That was really good. They talked all about working with members and how that is literally the best way to do missionary work.
