So my new comp is Elder Carter. He is brand new. He is from Murray, UT. He has 8 siblings.
It
has been a crazy week. We are both new to the area, so we have been
running around everywhere trying to meet all the people here. Because we
didn't know the area well, we happened to plan to go to the biggest
hill in the area on our biking day. We ended up taking about and hour to
ride/walk up it. It took about 5 minutes to ride back down. It was a
huge hill. A less active member at the top felt so bad for us that she
invited us in and gave us some water. We tried to get her to come to
church, but we couldn't accomplish that.
The
church building here is massive. They call it the TO(thousand oaks)
temple because it is so big. They have a little road just for it called
Mormon Way. It has a stoplight and everything.
