Thousand Oaks!

Hey everyone this week has been awesome! A tons has happened this week.

So my new comp is Elder Carter. He is brand new. He is from Murray, UT. He has 8 siblings.

It has been a crazy week. We are both new to the area, so we have been running around everywhere trying to meet all the people here. Because we didn't know the area well, we happened to plan to go to the biggest hill in the area on our biking day. We ended up taking about and hour to ride/walk up it. It took about 5 minutes to ride back down. It was a huge hill. A less active member at the top felt so bad for us that she invited us in and gave us some water. We tried to get her to come to church, but we couldn't accomplish that.

The church building here is massive. They call it the TO(thousand oaks) temple because it is so big. They have a little road just for it called Mormon Way. It has a stoplight and everything.

TRANSFERS

Hey everybody. Happy Fathers Day to all of the fathers.

So we got transfer calls. Elder Petersen is staying. He was convinced he would go.

I am going to go to Thousand Oaks 3rd ward and I'm going to train. I'm excited to train. It's going to be fun. The only problem is neither of us will know the area at all. Luckily we'll have a map. Plus well be riding bikes, so we'll get it down fast.

Sorry, I'm out of time. This was a good week though. It was really hot. It's supposed to be 105-110 today. Luckily I won't have to deal with the heat much longer. Unless TO is hot...

Hey sorry about forgetting to send this last week.

It has been a good two weeks though. We had a sweet lesson with one of our investigators yesterday. We brought some different members with us and it was awesome. They are the perfect fellowship. This is our golden investigator Candy. She is super excited for her baptism. It is awesome. She has already finished up Jesus the Christ. She reads really fast.

Let's see. We had a cool lesson with a less active named Foster. We decided to share a Mormon message with him and it fit perfectly.

We had a cool family history activity in the mission. Basically we all went to Santa Maria and played family history games and shared family history stories. It was sweet.

That's about it. Not anything super crazy.

Transfers are this next week, so if you are sending a letter or something send it to this address just in case I get transferred.
