Paso Robles!

So, I may have forgotten to tell everyone not to send letters this past week. My new address is
Elder Michael Bronson
730 Gardenia Circle #2
Paso Robles, CA 93446
Sorry about that.
This week has been awesome! I didn't get a picture with Elder Anderson yet, so I'll keep everyone in suspense until next week. Paso is great though. It is a lot slower pace than Ventura and a lot more like home. It would be comparable to Burley's size. Elder Anderson happened to actually know where Burley was. He has some relatives that live in Elba and also between Burley and Twin Falls.
Things that happened... We had a lesson with one of our investigators. It was pretty cool. He said that the only reason he listened to Elders Anderson and DeGraw was they knocked on his door seconds after he has finished a prayer to find out what he needed to do about religion. It was super cool. That Spirit was so strong at that little burger shop. He said that his dad has shunned him because he has been looking for a different religion. He is really awesome and has his head on good. He just got a Book of Mormon, so he will get his answer soon.

So I'm not sure if you have seen this TV show. I think it is called Redwood Kings or something like that. One of the main guys is our ward mission leader. He has a crazy cool tree house. It has a fingerprint lock on it. And secret passageways. And a TV with Xbox. Crazy cool.

This week we had a cool broadcast. It was along the coast from California to Alaska and also Hawaii. It was super inspired. Elder Renlund talked about "the short answer." In case you are wondering, the short answer is the Restoration and the First Vision. He explained that for anyone to really understand why we do the things we do, they need to first understand our belief in modern day prophets and revelation. He gave us 2 steps to answer questions.
1. Give them the short answer.
2. Answer their question in context of the Plan of Salvation.
This is so inspired. So my challenge for this week is for you to use the "short answer" and then answer the question in the context of the Plan of Salvation. As you do this, they will actually understand why we do the things we do. Otherwise you might get sucked into a conversation about the health benefits of red wine, ect.

Have a great week and Happy President's Day!
Love Elder Bronson
