Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! I'm a day late but that's ok.
Christmas was good. We had a zone conference on Tuesday. That was fun.
We got to go on exchanges Friday.
We got a new car on Saturday. It is a brand new 2016 Chevy Malibu with about 500 miles on it. It is sweet. It has a remote start. It brakes automatically if we are going to hit something. It has built in wifi. If we start to drift out of the lane it will keep us in. It's got some pretty cool stuff.
One of our investigators brought her whole family to church. That was awesome.
Well, I'm out of time and I forgot my camera, so I'll send pictures next week.
Have a great new year,

Christmas is almost here

Merry Christmas everyone for this next Sunday.

Sorry, I'm basically out of time, but it's been a pretty good week.
We went to Ojai 3 times. Once for a baptismal interview, once to help the Elders move, and once for a baptism. That took a lot of time considering it is about a 40 minute drive each way.

We picked up a new investigator from Jamaca.
I think that is about it.

Elder M Russel Ballard!

This was an awesome week! Elder M Russell Ballard came and spoke to all the missionaries in the mission. Elder Hallstrom from the presidency of the 70 came with him. That was really cool. They came and visited the mission. They wanted to shake everyone's hands individually. It was a really cool meeting. I got a lot of good quotes. It was funny because he was telling jokes and laughing and all sorts of things.
One cool quote "If you can't die and get out of missionary work, then you might as well learn how to do it."-Elder Ballard.
Also he emphasized studying the doctrines of Ch 3 of Preach My Gospel. He told a story of being bold too.
So he was with LeGran Richards at an airport. A lady with a couple of kids sat across from them. Elder Ballard had to take the missionary opportunity, so he told her she was very lucky to be there. She asked why and he responded that she was sitting across from Elder LeGrand Richards and Apostle of the Lord. He then turned it over to Elder Richards. Elder Richards talked a little and asked what church she belonged to. She said that she was Born Again Christian. Elder Richards responded by saying "Well that's too bad." Elder Ballard said he about had a heart attack. That was the funny story about being bold.

We had an investigator come to church this week. That was really awesome. She enjoyed it.
Well, I've got to go, but have a great week.

Week 6 Miracles

This week has been awesome. So many coo things have happened.
For transfers Elder Olacsi and I are both staying. So that is fun. The area has grown tons this past transfer and now we get to see where it goes from here.

A cool miracle.
We have been working with a part-member family. 2 weeks ago we invited him to be baptized. He said that he would pray about it. He ended up being sick for about 2 weeks. We met with him this past Monday. We prayed and he just said, "Lets get to business, so what do I need to do to be baptized?" That was super cool. He is super committed to be baptized and his date is for December 24th. We are really excited for that.

Another cool miracle.
So last week we got a HQ referral for someone who requested a Book of Mormon. We contacted her and shared a cool scripture that was just what she needed. We had a lesson with her this week at a member's house that she is friends with. We talked about the Plan of Salvation. We talked about how we need to follow God and through baptism we make that promise with him. We found out that she had studied with the Jehovah's Witness's for 7 years, but they would not let her get baptized. She has been trying to be baptized because she knows that it is what she needs to do. So now she is praying about the Book of Mormon and baptism.

Lots of super cool things are happening.

Well, I'm out of time, but here is a picture of Elder Olacsi and me with Santa
