New Investigators!

This week was great. We had a super good week. We finally found some new investigators. It is a family with one 8 year old son. They super prepared. We taught them the Plan of Salvation and they liked it. It made sense to them. That was probably the biggest highlight of the week.

We went on exchanges twice this week. I went with Elder Ruby (one of the zone leaders) and Elder Wayment (one of the Elders that lives with us). We were able to give a Book of Mormon to a Jehovah Witness. They usually don't like to take them, but he took one. We also had a really good lesson with one of 1st wards investigators.

Let's see. We did some mountain bike riding last P-Day. That was fun. I'll attach some pictures of that.

Other than that we've basically just been riding bikes and talking to people.

Finally a picture.....

This week has been good.

Lets see. I was able to go on exchanges with the Spanish Elders this week. That was good. We had some super good food. I tried some cactus for the first time. It is really good. It was a fun exchange. I got to practice the few Spanish words that I know.

We were able to have a couple of lessons with some less actives this week. That was good as well. One showed up at church! She is super shy, so it was awesome that she came. We had a surprise visit from a Seventy this Sunday. He is Elder Wild and actually has a brother in the next ward over.

The main thing that we've been working on is finding more people to teach. We found a new potential this week. We taught him some of the Restoration. He is cool. We've talked to him before, but this time he was a little drunk. He lost his job recently, so he's been looking for another one. Hopefully he finds one.

Not a whole lot happened this week.

I did learn about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Really the whole purpose of it and what is does is help us learn. That is really what our purpose is here and that is what we are trying to do.

Another Week

Lets see. We had a good week. We talked to a lot of people. We were able to meet a couple more less actives so that was really good.

I planned my first district meeting this past week. It went pretty good. We talked about being qualified for the work and why faith, hope, charity, love, and keeping an eye single to the glory of God are important. It went pretty well.

We are still trying to find some more people to teach.

New Transfer

Sorry I don't have a lot of time.

So for transfers I am staying with Elder Carter. That is going to be fun. I'm excited for that.

So I got a call on Friday and they told me I'm going to be a district leader. That is going to be good I hope. I hope that I do a good job.

Lets see, we were on foot a lot this week. Our bike tires popped.

Hmm... I think that is most of it. Not a lot of cool stuff happened this week. Oh I know. It was cool, our plans ended up falling through, so we prayed for Heavenly Father to guide us where we needed to go. We saw them and it turns out that they needed help and they were not going to get it done by themselves. It was cool to be there in their time of need.

That was a cool miracle that we saw this week.
